1.  Launch Reminder

A quick reminder to all those who haven't responded to COWC about their attendance at the centre launch events next Thursday, 27 September,  to let us know. The invitation is attached once again - we look forward to seeing you then.

 

2. Brampton Fairtrade Town Group Talk and AGM

Thursday 4th October at Brampton Community Centre ,Union Lane ,Brampton.
At 7.30 pm A presentation, 'Messages From The Birth Place Of Coffee'
Given by 2 members of Keswick FT group who went to Ethiopia in October 2006
 
At 8.00 pm refreshments,chat, Traidcraft stall.
At 8.30 pm AGM. All welcome

 

3. Keswick Fair World Alliance Public Meeting

 

Friday 5th October, Rawnsley Hall, Keswick, 7:30pm

4. COWC Subscription Reminder

 

For existing supporters:-

We contacted supporters prior to the mid June AGM to request the renewal of your support for COWC. Our sincere thanks to those supporters who have already returned their subscription.  If you have not yet sent your subscription, it would be very helpful to receive your completed supporter form (as attached) and subscription as soon as possible.

 

We have valued your support to date and would greatly appreciate your continued support of our work associated with the wide range of issues related to Fair Trade, justice and poverty.  

If you are supporting COWC as an individual and are a taxpayer, we would very much appreciate if you would gift aid your subscription.  This would enable us to claim an additional £2.82 for each £10, which would be an excellent addition to our funds at no additional cost to you.   Please sign the gift aided declaration if appropriate.

 

Thank you in anticipation of your continued contribution to the centre’s activities and we look forward to keeping you informed of our work during the year.

For Network members who have not paid a subscription:-

Whilst we keep you informed of our activities, we would value your financial support of our work. If you wish to support our work in this way, please complete the attached new supporter form and return this to COWC as soon as possible.  As mentioned above, please gift aid your contribution if you are a taxpayer as this provides a significant additional income for COWC at an additional cost to the supporter.
